Mighty US Dollars, Rupiah Closes to Rp13,910 / USD
JAKARTA - The exchange rate of the Rupiah against the United States of America (US) at the opening of trade this morning has been observed to weaken. Rupiah returns to the level of Rp. 13,900/USD.
Meanwhile, YahooFinance noted the Rupiah weakened 21 points or 0.15% at the level of Rp13,905 per USD. Rupiah moves in the range of Rp. 13,875 - Rp. 14,002 / USD.
As is known, the exchange rate of the United States dollar (US) strengthened 0.46% against a basket of other major currencies at the end of trading Thursday local time (Friday morning WIB).
The US dollar recovered from a six-month low, after a bleak December that made the index nearly flat at the end of 2019
